SILICON VALLEY – Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, expressed his belief that artificial intelligence (AI) has the ability to significantly alter a number of aspects of contemporary society during the company’s most recent financial results presentation.
Cook responded to questions from investors by saying that AI is “a significant focus” for Apple and that “it’s great in the way it can enrich consumers’ lives.”
In addition, the CEO of the iPhone firm thinks that this technology would fundamentally alter several fields of employment at the company.
“We see enormous potential in this space to affect virtually everything we do… It will affect every product and service we have,” Cook was quoted by Business Insider.
The new crash detection tool for the iPhone and Apple Watch, as well as the ECG feature that enables users to measure their heartbeat and rhythm, are just a few of the Apple services which Cook mentioned that already use parts of artificial intelligence.
Prior to the release of numerous consumer-facing AI products, such as the AI chatbot ChatGPT and AI photo editors Lensa AI and DALL-E 2, many forecasts about artificial intelligence appeared to be science fiction.
Caught in this ongoing digital revolution, the CEO of Apple stated his intentions to further integrate AI into the business.
