Some call him the baddest vocalist and he is known by some as Tsano VeMbare but he comes from Norton, Celscius Wayne is a polished nugget who has a reserved seat in the Zimdancehall hall of fame.
His music is fertile and rich, so are his lyrics. Celscius sings to entertain and he goes beyond that, he sings to move and he takes musical lovers on an unforgettable drive.
Munamato Wangu is a classic and a banger which takes the fans on a ghetto tour while giving them a vivid picture of the ghetto livity from drug abuse to prostitution.
It also brings to picture the high levels of poverty experienced by the ghetto inhabitants in high density suburbs like Mbare, Katanga, Rimuka, Mkoba, Luveve and Sakubva among other areas in Zimbabwe.
Others hitsongs by Celscius like Ndiyende, which is a powerful joint that is a mini anthem sang word by word by lovers and the rest of the music fanatics.
Visuals for “Ndiyende” recently reached 1 million views on YouTube which is a major milestone achievement.
Besides being super talented, Celscius is one of the most underrated artist in Zimbabwe. In the recent times, his music has been failing to successfully penetrate into the cores and peripheries.
He recently released an album titled “Refix Replica” mid-year which is an action packed full of tight songs but it failed to set the streets ablaze despite its niceness.
Even when the main actors in Zimdancehall are mentioned, his name is intentionally left out by many promoters, bloggers, DJs and selectors but his talent is unmatched.
Celscius Wayne is a sleeping giant who has the ample potential to shake the game and export Zimbabwean sound to the entire world.
To successfully come out of the sleeping mode, Celscius must improve his digital visibility and invest much in the digital space so that he can relentlessly push his music and follow the strategies that other artists like his peer Seh Calaz among others employ when marketing their music.
In conclusion this writer reiterates that Celscius is the one of the MOST talented and the MOST underrated Zimdancehall artist!
