HARARE – Prominent businessman Mahomed Mussa has died, a close family official has confirmed.
He died in the early hours of Thursday morning.
“It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Muhammed Mussa from this temporary life to the real life of the hereafter.
“Death was written and everything else is just a pretext. We should always be satisfied with the decree of Allah Ta’ala. May Allah Ta’ala forgive the deceased and elevate his status. We ask everyone world to do dua for him and do isaale thawaab as it will benefit the deceased,” the family statement read.
The popular tycoon owned several stores in Harare under the name Mahomed Mussa Wholesalers.
The exact cause of death has yet to be determined, with close family members saying the illness he died from was related to old age.
Musa was the director and founder of the Mahomed Mussa (MM) group, which deals in the wholesale of food products, household appliances and appliances.
