HARARE – Zimdancehall chanter Seh Calaz showed he still has it in his loins to compete against the so-called best with a potential hit song “Ndichichema” off the latest Chillspot Records project Homo Ne Ndarira riddim.
The riddim that was released early Saturday has the Bandit boss as Seh Calaz is often called among the leading pack in terms of views and positive response online.
“Ndichichema” seems to be the right code for a hit song given that it tackles into social issues affecting most men in relationships when it comes to expressing their feelings after a setback.
Seh Calaz, real name, Tawanda Mumanyi talks about a failed relationship in the song that continues to drain his energy and soils his name even after a breakup with some calling it a diss track for Moira Knight.
Boss Yala talks about the sacrifices he made in his relationship and the emotional abuses experienced during and after the union with the society telling him to keep quiet because of his celebrity status.
“Regai ndikutaurirei zvakaitika kumavambo rudo ruchapisa. Zvese zvaaida ndaingoita pasina nharo kana kupikisa, kusamona sadza achida pizza musoro ndaimurukisa” part of the song goes.
In the song, Seh Calaz whom some say is finished, unpacks the abuse experienced by men in society because of their masculine nature which doesn’t allow them to open up or express their emotions.
Homo Ne Ndarira riddim which was produced by DJ Fantan features some top artists including Killer T, Gemma Griffiths who collaborated with Enzo Ishall on the song “Huya Tinamate Babe” , Ndunge Yut, Shashl among others.
