Wadiwa Wepamoyo set for grand geturn with ‘vintage’ Season 2

Local series Wadiwa Wepamoyo which burst into spotlight last year at the height of the lockdown induced by the global COVID-19 pandemic is ready for Season 2 premiere.

HARARE – Local series Wadiwa Wepamoyo which burst into spotlight last year at the height of the lockdown induced by the global COVID-19 pandemic is ready for Season 2 premiere.

The series which is a project of College Central has become embedded into the hearts of film fanatics in Zimbabwe due to some top-drawer acts by prominent characters (cast) like Man Tawa, Noku, Biko and Shami. 

Now after a successful debut season, Wadiwa Wepamoyo is set for a grand return to the screen on September 29th with an official trailer of the new season already released on the YouTube channel of College Central. 

According to information provided by College Central who are the producers of the project: “Season 2 follows Tawanda and Noku as they try to grow as people in the face of a pending divorce, fraught relationships and most of all a change in responsibility.” 

Wadiwa Wepamoyo is a topnotch romantic series which follows an interesting and sometimes emotion story line with vintage twists and turns. 

“After a successful season in Bulawayo with Bulawayo Pirates, Man Tawa returns to Harare right at the start of the World Cup. His world has changed, Noku is in a relationship, Biko is forging his own path and Shami has taken matters into her own hands,” a synopsis of the series reads. 

Wadiwa Wepamoyo season 2 premieres on 29th September 2021 at 10 am on College Central official YouTube channel.
