With six points between them and log leaders FC Platinum only a brave soul will put money on DeMbare winning the league title.
They haven’t shown any championship credentials this term and backing them for the big one can be dismissed as an act of bravery, stupidity or both.
But then again this is Dynamos, the most successful team in the land.
Surely if there is any team that has a history of pulling off Houdini Acts then it is that one that claims to have seven million souls in its parish.
They have chucked some out of the fire before.
Can they do it again in 2022?
Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya believes it can be done.
“I have always said the race is still quite open,” Ndiraya opines.
“We have 10 games to go now; it’s still open and a lot of things will happen in those games. There is going to be lots of ups and downs but what we as a team now require is to be consistent in terms of trying to win all our remaining matches.
“Consistency is what we are slowly getting. We have won three times on the trot and that is very good. My wish is for us to continue doing that in the next matches to come so that we keep pace with FC Platinum and Chicken Inn.
“There are 30 points still to play for and that is quite a lot. We will try to concentrate on what we can control and what we can do.
“With six points (ahead) we would like to think FC Platinum are in the driving seat but the points are still there to fight for, so let’s see what happens in the next few weeks.”
From what you have seen of Dynamos do you reckon they can with the title this year?
Only time will tell.
Its Gold Again!
