General Matatu sworn-in as new army boss

President Mnangagwa has appointed Matatu to the position of Commander following the retirement of outgoing Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, General Philip Valerio Sibanda.

Lieutenant General David Sigauke has been named the new Zimbabwe National Army commander by country's President, Emmerson Mnangagwa through defence minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri.
