SWANSEA – Tivonge Rushesha, (pictured) who was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in Wales, is targeting more first-team football at Swansea City.
It comes after he signed his first professional contract with the club, which Swansea City confirmed in a statement.
The young defender, 17, has committed his future to the Swans by putting pen to paper on a new two-year deal, which will keep him in SA1 until the summer of 2022.

Rushesha who is highly regarded as a big talent has been rising through the Swansea City ranks and certain for permanent promotion to the first team.
He has sworn allegiance to Zimbabwe in terms of international football but a switch to Wales national team cannot be ruled out.
