What new things Malaba still wants to share?

From the onset look of things, former Chief Justice Luke Malaba is no longer welcome, even within the system.

The current structure is rejecting him, and he has no option except to throw in the towel. What is it that he is fighting for, that he did not achieve for the past 26 years?

If the old man, did not accumulate enough, please spare him something, so that he goes in dignity. I’m trying to scratch my head, from those offices along Samora Machel, and ask myself what is it, that is new, that sekuru Malaba wants to share?

From my own assumption, literally, I don’t see anything new that sekuru Malaba would bring to the bench, except perhaps one or two gestures about the on-going circus in the judiciary, where judgements are supposed to go through vetting process, before any release.

Perhaps, I was trying to come to terms with reality, that perhaps, he needs to purchase a new set of plasma, or maybe some few gadgets?

If we can talk of perks, he had made good collections, he should be opting to go home and rest. These are the guys who are pocketing not less than 5000 USD per month, we talk of a decent retirement home, he has made enough.

They have farms, may be, he is likely to miss the well ventilated office. But does he not have one, at home?

What is it, that is new that he wants to bring to the judiciary, other than a bag full of circus and embarrassment? I’m just wondering. Why is he forcing himself on people who no longer require his services?

To cut the long story short, I thought there are some relatives, friends, inner circle, politicians, who could still whisper into his ears, that Sekuru, you are now a liability to the nation, and you are turning to be a circus to the whole nation.

We as a nation, we have a name to protect, we have a legacy to protect and collections to make. Investors are sitting on the fence and the future looks young in a modern day world. Malaba and his crew are a thing of the past.

Malaba belongs to the old guard, the old generation. We have so many young lawyers, young legal practitioners, and it’s high time, we place a call to those who have fresh minds, fresh ideas !!!
