BULAWAYO – Amakhosikazi are ninety minutes away from becoming the first team to have eleven straight clean victories in the Southern Region Division one League.

The female Ninjas will be hoping to achieve the almost impossible dream when they lock horns with Bulawayo Queens at Chiefs Village on Saturday.

Amakhosikazi have had a massive love affair with wins and they will be hoping to see that love affair continue and be written down in the history books of Zimbabwean football.

The evergreen performance started on the opening day of the league and the Bulawayo Chiefs ladies are still maintaining that five star performance.

Amakhosikazi have played 10 games and have conquered all their opponents with no team managing to beat Leona Bhunu and Noxolo Kona in-between the sticks for the female Ninjas.

This coming fixture will mark the half way mark of the season and the female Ninjas are the crystal clear favourites to be promoted into the league.

Despite scoring 62 goals and conceding none, Bulawayo Chiefs ladies coach Evans Netha still takes every match like his side depends on it.

“We prepared well, we are ready to play,” said Netha.

Saturday’s game will mark the dawn of new era in the ladies game if Amakhosikazi can manage to pull a win without conceding any goals.

Despite being on top of the log with clean sheets, Netha acknowledged the pressure that comes with games.

“Football is a game of pressure and we have to continue playing well,” added Netha.

Only the clock will best tell the tale when the sides meet at Chiefs Village.
