LONDON – Arsenal increased their lead over Manchester City to eight points with a 2-0 victory in the north London derby over Tottenham on Sunday.
Chelsea reduced the pressure on manager Graham Potter with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace while Newcastle defeated Fulham 1-0 in added time to retake third position and maintain their chances of winning the PL title.
However, after their first league victory away at Tottenham in nine years, Arsenal will need some stopping if they are to be denied a first league crown since Arsene Wenger‘s “Invincibles” in 2003/04.

Hugo Lloris palmed a cross from Bukayo Saka into his own net during the visitors’ strong first-half performance, and Martin Odegaard’s long-range shot reached the bottom corner.
With saves for Ryan Sessegnon and Harry Kane attacks, Aaron Ramsdale prevented Spurs from mounting their usual comeback in matches after falling behind by two goals this season.
Tottenham are now five points behind the last slot for top four after suffering their fourth home loss in their last five league contests.
