PRETORIA – Zambia faces South Africa in the finals of the 2022 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship at 15h30 (CAT) on Sunday 11 September, 2022.
To get to the COSAFA Cup finals, Zambia dispatched outgoing champions Tanzania 2-1 while South Africa beat Namibia 1-0.
The final will be a repeat of last year’s third/fourth classification match that ended 4-3 on penalties in favour of the Copper Queens after finishing 1-1 in normal time.
The final comes nearly two months after the Copper Queens lost 1-0 to South Africa in the semi-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nation (WAFCON) in Morocco.
