Antipas lose job at Chicken Inn over coaching license

In preparation for the upcoming season, Chicken Inn plans to make some adjustments to their technical staff with Prince Matore set to succeed his longtime mentor Joey "Mafero" Antipas as head coach.

BULAWAYO – In preparation for the upcoming season, Chicken Inn plans to make some adjustments to their technical staff with Prince Matore set to succeed his longtime mentor Joey “Mafero” Antipas as head coach.

Matore will succeed Antipas as head coach, since the latter doesn’t have the required CAF A coaching licence.

With ZIFA adamant that all the coaches in the Premier Soccer League should have the CAF A coaching badge this coming season, Chicken Inn reacted by shuffling their technical department with Matore taking over as the coach assisted by former Bulawayo City coach Farai Tawachera.

Antipas who has benefited from an exemption in the past by virtue of being a title winning coach, will be assigned to the post of Technical Director.
