HARARE – Inform Dynamos teenage sensation Bill Antonio has been invited for trials at Belgian first division side KV Mechelen.
Antonio who was named man of the match in Dynamos’ 3-1 win over Tenax at the weekend is set to go for trials in due course at the Antwerp based club which has links with DeMbare.
The Herald reports that the Belgian club initially wanted to have a look at Antonio sometime back but his handlers opted to have gain some experience playing for Dynamos before he goes to a foreign club.
Antonio’s stock has been rising lately with him making his debut for the Warriors in the World Cup qualifiers against South Africa in November last year.
He was also part of the provisional Warriors squad for the Africa Cup of Nations before losing out to more experienced players for the final cut.
