Body parts allegedly belonging to a St Mathias Tsonzo High School student Livingstone Sunhwa (19), who has not been seen or heard from since he vanished on December 6 last year have been discovered.

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) conducted a search on Friday in Manicaland after being led to the place where the ‘parts had been hidden’.

According to information provided, police discovered a human head and ribs buried in the area.

Livingstone is said to have disappeared after being tortured by the police and some of his teachers for his alleged involvement in a burglary at the school candy store.

However, according to some reports, after being tortured in front of other students, Livingstone was taken to Mutasa police station, where he was detained without his parents’ knowledge.

It is said that when his mother found out about the incident, she called the principal (headmaster) and pleaded for her son to return to school so he could take his exams.

The school principal was the last person to see Livingstone, according to the family.
