BULAWAYO – Bulawayo Chiefs coach Nilton Terroso stormed out of a training session Thursday afternoon at Barbourfields stadium shouting “I cannot have this” after an impasse with assistant coach Thulani Sibanda.

The Portuguese feels his assistant Sibanda is pulling in the opposite direction.

Sibanda is said to have told team bosses that Terroso is “afraid” of punishing Obrey Chirinda and Hill Chikosa for coming to the Ngezi match intoxicated.

But in his defence the highly rated gaffer says there is no evidence that the pair was indeed drunk.

The Amakhosi coach reckons Sibanda’s move stinks of insubordination.

And it came to a boil at BF as Chiefs prepared for the Chibuku Super Cup clash against Bosso.

Terroso said he could not take the nonsense anymore and something has to give.

A meeting between club bosses and their miffed coach is set for later Thursday night.
