HARARE – CAPS United have confirmed they have struck a lucrative sponsorship deal which could be announced as early as next week.
However, the identity of the partner remains secret as the Green Machine is still working out the details of the deal.
CAPS United chief executive office Charlie Jones could not deny the club is close to agreeing something with an interested partner but did not provide any further details.
However, an insider close to the events named Trek Petroleum as the new Green Machine sponsor.
Trek Petroleum is a fuel or gas company whose ownership is not yet clear with government and business magnate Kuda Tagwirei being named as party of the entity at one time.
Makepekepe had literally become the laughingstock of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League with biting financial challenges hampering their performance on the pitch.
