CAPS United sink deeper after defeat to Yadah

CAPS United sunk further to an all time low after losing 0-1 to Yadah Stars in a dull Castle Lager Premier League match played at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

HARARE – CAPS United sunk further to an all time low after losing 0-1 to Yadah Stars in a dull Castle Lager Premier League match played at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Yadah won the game thanks to a solitary strike by Brian Kadamanje in the 50th minute of the game to condemn struggling Makepekepe to an infamous defeat.

So bad was CAPS United that they failed to register a single short on target something that triggered their faithfuls to express their displeasure by embracing the winning team at the end of the match.

The angry Green Machine supporters confronted coach Lloyd Chitembwe and club CEO Charlie Jones telling them something must be fixed or they will rather watch from a distance the team sinking.

Meanwhile, FC Platinum were far from pretty against Bulawayo City but the champions got the job done thanks to a Walter Musona goal.

Results:

Cranborne Bullets 1-1 Highlanders
FC Platinum 1-0 Bulawayo City
Chicken Inn 1-0 Whawha
Yadah 1-0 Caps United
