In his complaint, the plaintiff indicates that by contract dated April 16, 2016, he entered into a car rental agreement with Lusambo to rent a Mitsubishi Pajero, registered BAC 5945, at the rate of K1,400 per day and a Lexus RX 300, BAB registration number 8853 priced at K1,000 per day.

“Between June 1, 2016 and October 2, 2016, the defendant rented the Mitsubishi for a period of 155 days at the rate of K1,300 per day, making a total bill of K201,500. The defendant has up to paid only 23,000,400,” Mwango’s Car Hire said.

“The defendant not only abandoned the proposals and promises to settle the unpaid debt, but he failed and failed to pay the said K201,100 to the plaintiff, despite several requests to that effect by the plaintiff.”
