CCC Nyatsime detainee Felix Biri granted bail

HARARE – The 16th Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Nyatsime detainee, Felix Biri has been granted $20 000 bail by High Court judge Justice Esther Muremba.

Biri was arrested on 29 September this year. Represented by Darlington Marange, of Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum, approached the High Court as a court of the first instance on October 5.

Bail ruling, which often should be delivered within two days, was delivered today (17 October) after four postponements.

Meanwhile, other Nyatsime members who include Job Sikhala and Godfrey Sithole remain imprisoned with multiple attempts to get them out on bail hitting a brick wall.
