Chamisa ready to lay down his life for change

Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa said on Sunday that he is ready to lay down his life for change in Zimbabwe over material gains promised to him by the ruling Zanu PF.

KWEKWE – Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa said on Sunday that he is ready to lay down his life for change in Zimbabwe over material gains promised to him by the ruling Zanu PF.

Chamisa made the remarks during a CCC Thank You Rally in Kwekwe Central constituency following the re-election of candidates during the March 26th by-elections.

“I will keep on fighting until problems in this country are resolved. Even if you come offering me a plot, money or cars I will resist because what I want is change,” Chamisa said.

“I told you that I’m ready to die. There is a price in heaven when you die for the truth. There is a price in heaven when you die for standing for the people.

“I’m an advocate. I can go and practice law making money but that will not help bring the country out of this mess,” he added.

The rally was attended by thousands of change enthusiasts despite Kwekwe being a zone of Zanu PF sponsored terror gangs.

Kwekwe Central constituency seat was won by Judith Tobaiwa while Settlement Chikwinya was elected member of parliament for Mbizo constituency.
