SuperSport United announced earlier this week that they had decided not to sign Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat who was on trial with the club.
Makomborero Mutimukulu on Khama
A man I believe to be a member of the royal family of South African football called me late yesterday.
In a dream or in real life I am not sure.
But I got a call.
The caller was certainly not their equivalent of Prince William.
It was their Harry, I presume.
“We came to Harare for that boy. We spoke to his parents. They said if he is in South Africa you , the team, are his parents..take care of him. And we did.
“So understand our anger after he walked out in the manner he did. Your son cannot tell you to F Off. If he does that he will be cursed, no door will open for him. Best bet is for him to come home, apologise and seek the blessings that open doors,” he said.
Are you talking of Khama Billiat, I asked.
“I dont know. Maybe. Maybe not. You are a smart man Mutimukulu figure it out,” came the answer and end of call.

So I sat there, figuring how I could measure up to the smart man praise.
After a few minutes I made some calls of my own.
One person told me Supersport were warned against signing Khama Billiat without the blessings of the royal family.
Even if Gaucho had said he will play for free Supersport were still never going to sign him.
Can Khama and his manger Vokal go to the King and apologise?
“They are small boys. It is them who told the the big man to go hang. They cant clean up their mess. You need heavyweights. There are people held in high regard by the Royal Family…Tinashe, Willard. Those people can do the job” said my informant.
Sadly there was no more time for further engagements. Life called from another dimension.
