Zimbabwe’s ruling party, Zanu PF on Wednesday threatened respected Zimbabwe journalist Hopewell Chin’ono for exposing the corrupt dealings by the brutal and bloodthirsty party and the canning First Family.
“ZANU PF has noted with concern, the systematic well choreographed and sponsored attacks on the integrity of the first family by unscrupulous characters such as Hopewell Chin’ono.
“This time targeting the President’s son. We are aware that these baseless attacks did not start today but need to stop forthwith,” Chinamasa said.
In a statement issued by Zanu PF acting spokesperson Patrick Chinamasa, the ruling party threatened Chin’ono and warned him to desist from reporting on the excessive graft by President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his family.
Chinamasa added that the allegations were unfounded and meant to paint the government in bad light.
The regime has in recent weeks upped its brutal arm against critics with violence, abduction and legal intimidation being the order of the day.
