KADOMA – Contemporary musician Jah Prayzah and South African amapiano singer Makhadzi have released a single titled Dzima ahead of their gig this weekend at Odyssey Lodge in Kadoma, Zimbabwe.
Produced by Rodney Beatz, the song is their second collaboration after Kokovha, a title track from Makhadzi’s 2020 album.
In less than twenty-four hours, with no visuals, the song racked up over 115,000 views on YouTube.
Taking to social media, Makhadzi said she was looking forward to performing the song at Kadoma for the first time.
Meanwhile, the MaGear hitmaker is expected in the country on Saturday morning ahead of the show later that evening.
Makhadzi and Jah Prayzah’s live concert in Kadoma, organized by 2Kings Entertainment, will also feature local artists, including urban groove heavyweight ExQ, singer Marceline “Marcy” Janyure and comedienne Madam Boss.
In an interview, 2Kings Entertainment’s Dee Nosh said that preparations for the musical show are on track.
He added that his company will be proud to welcome local and foreign artists to small towns across the country to promote tourism and culture.
“The upcoming music concert in Kadoma is another initiative to promote the growth of tourism in small towns. We have already hosted Mafikizolo in town.
“We will have other shows in other provinces across the country, led by great artists,” he added.
Dee Nosh will host top South African DJ Prince Kaybe at Chinhoyi on the 30th of this month.
