PALMA – Real Mallorca new signing Tino Kadewere dream debut in the La Liga will not be taking place this weekend after the striker suffered an injury ahead of the clash against Real Madrid on Sunday.
Mallorca said Kadewere suffered an injury following an accidental action in training and the extent of the injury will only be determined after further assessment by the medical services.
“Tino Kadewere has suffered an injury to the quadriceps of his right leg during a first-team training session.
“RCD Mallorca’s medical team is working together with Olympique Lyon to determine whether the forward will require surgery or not,” confirmed Mallorca in a statement on Friday.
Kadewere joined Real Mallorca last week on loan from French League One side Lyon following an uneventful 2021/22 season.
