Warriors striker Tino Kadewere got his first red card in France after he was send off in Lyon’s 3-2 defeat to Nice on Sunday.
Kadewere who was slowly coming back into Lyon’s starting line up after being on the sidelines due to injury, was shown a straight red card five minutes to full time for dangerous two footed lunge on an opponent.
This could be a blow for Warriors coach Norman Mapeza as he was hoping that his chief striker picks up form and fitness ahead of World Cup qualifiers against South Africa on 11 November and Ethiopia on 14 November.
Kadewere missed the back to back clashes against Ghana due to an injury picked against South Africa at the beginning of September.
