JOHANNESBURG – Warriors forward Kuda Mahachi has been nominated for two awards at this year’s Zororo Phumulani Zimbabwe Achievers Awards in South Africa set for the end of next month.
Mahachi who plays for SuperSport United has been nominated for the Sports Personality Of the Year award along with teammate George Chigova, former Warriors captain Willard Katsande who is now at Sekhukhune United.
Mixed martial arts athlete Sylvester Chipfumbu who is the current World Extreme Fighting Championship bantamweight champion has also been nominated for the same category.
Mahachi is also in the running for the Male Personality of the Year Award along with actor and model Tino Chinyani, Lewis John and actor Leon Blessing Machando.
The voting process begins on Monday and ends on 28 February 2022.
The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards South African 2022 edition will be held on 26 March.
