ZVISHAVANE – FC Platinum duo of coach Norman Mapeza and forward Walter Musona have won the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League September monthly awards.
Mapeza won the September Coach of the Month while Musona was voted the September Player of the Month after stellar performances in the league.
FC Platinum won all their matches in September beating Bulawayo City 1-0 at Mandava stadium, edged WhaWha 2-1 away at Ascot stadium and also triumphed 2-0 over Manica Diamonds at home.
Musona capped his top form in September with goals in the matches against WhaWha and Bulawayo City.
Mapeza and Musona are back in action on Sunday in the Chibuku Super Cup semi finals against Herentals at Mandava stadium.
Bulawayo Chiefs and Black Rhinos clash in the other semi final in an earlier kick off.
