HARARE – Zimbabwe women football national team, the Mighty Warriors has been dealt a big blow with key players reportedly a doubt for their latest match against Eswatini (Swaziland).
The Mighty Warriors will be without star players Rutendo Makore and Mavis Chirandu against Eswatini in an Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifier at the National Sports stadium on Wednesday.
Makore is out injured after picking an injury during the COSAFA Cup while Chirandu is attending to an urgent family commitment.
The return leg will be played at Mavuso stadium in Manzini on 26 October.
The qualifiers were scheduled for June but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
