PARIS – Versatile midfielder Marshal Munetsi returned from injury with a bang scoring a brace for his French Ligue 1 club Stade Reims in the 5-0 win over Bordeaux on Sunday.
Munetsi missed the Warriors’ participation at the Africa Cup of Nations through injury. This was Munetsi’s first match since October.
Ekitike opened the floodgates for Reims in the 40th minute before Munetsi made it 2-0 six minutes later.
Reims continued their dominance in the second half with an impressive Matusiwa scoring the third goal in the 59th minute.
Faes was the next on the scoresheet with an aplomb goal three minutes later.
Munetsi sealed an impressive day for Reims by completing his brace on the 76th minute mark.
