Dancehall sensation Nutty O, real name Carrington Simbarashe Chiwadzwa, continues the meteoric rise to the top with the latest Mustard Seed album placing him at another level.
The 14-track album arguably brings closure to the debate on whether the Boom Shelele hit-maker is the real deal or it is just spurious.
It is a humdinger project that fully asserts Nutty O as a blue-chip in the music arena both locally and internationally.
Some of the producers who worked on the album include DJ Tamuka (Mushroom Media) , Jusa Dementor, JMP, Rodney Beatz and Mac Dee among others.
Mustard Seed album carries songs such as “Open Doors” , “Safe” , “Peter Pan” , “Kokorigo” , “Be My Girl” featuring Kae Chaps, “Shoulder” , “Finesse” , “Ndiwe” featuring Jamaican star Demarco.
The other songs are “Kungfu” , “Ready” featuring ExQ, “Reverse” , “Success” featuring Stonebwoy, “Trouble In The City” and “Handipere Power”.
On his collaboration with Ghanaian star Stonebwoy, the ABX frontman said it was a dream come true for him.
“The duet with Stonebwoy is really my favourite because I collaborated with someone I have always looked up to for a long time,” said Nutty O.
Urban Grooves musician ExQ congratulated Nutty O on his new album and also said it is a project which deserves to be ranked among the best in Africa due to its unrivalled quality.
“I feel like it is one of the best album in Africa. He really did the best in the studio from the first day to the moment when the project was done and ready for consumption.
“As someone who has been around this boy for a long time, I know his dedication. I was also supposed to work on an album but couldn’t do that because I had to focus on helping him every time.
He would trouble me every moment asking for advice and this show how serious he is when it comes to music,” said ExQ who collaborated with Nutty O on the song “Ready”.
