Cain Muzorewa, Opinion
Lunacy is when an executive president of Zimbabwe thinks he can run the nation via military rule. He then begins to label the operations command agriculture, command RBZ, command mining, command school.
Despite the fact that this command thing has been tried and proven to have failed yet he still hopes one day tables will turn around using the same command formula.
Lunacy is when journalist(s) and political opponents have leg irons in and out of court yet the real criminals some of whom where caught red handed at Harare International airport smuggling 6kgs of pure gold out of the country are free.
The number 1 criminal who is supposed to be in leg irons for the Gukurahundi tribal genocide Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is free. This is lunacy.
Job Sikhala, Hopewell Chin’ono, Fadzai Mahere to name a few have of late become “public protectors” in Zimbabwe but what they get is persecution, torture, intimidation, death threats and in some unfortunate circumstances disappearances like the case of Itai Dzamara.
Lunacy is when an architect of a military coup in November 2017 commissions a water tap in Chivi and then thinks in his stupid mind that come 2030 he will still be in power.
How dare even talk about 2030 when we have 2021 to make it with families shut up (sic) during a lockdown with unreasonable conditions.
Lunacy is when Constatino Chiwenga expects the nation to survive the COVID-19 pandemic but forgets the starvation which people will face during the same lockdown.
Lunacy is when Dambudzo Mnangagwa denies the existence of a crisis in Zimbabwe to the South African delegation, yet he makes it so difficult for them to meet opposition political opponents.
The lack of political ideology within ZANU PF is a crisis in itself, we wonder why Mnangagwa says there is no crisis in Zimbabwe.
What does he seek to achieve by shuffling the cabinet? What’s the end objective?
Zimbabweans do you really expect anything productive from the so-called president who commissions a water tap in Chivi? Is this not a departure from sanity?
I will tell you one conclusion, this is lunacy.
Ladies and gentlemen the time has come for us to fight this lunacy.
Most Zimbabweans are so scared for their lives because of the armed militia behind Mnangagwa but I tell you that even the military man is not spared from the crisis we have in Zimbabwe.
All political stakeholders this is the time to revolt. The whole of Zimbabwe cannot be in prison.
The whole nation of Zimbabwe cannot be killed. It’s time to put behind our ideological differences and revolt against this black oppressor.
The recipe for a revolt is there and the ingredients are there already. This is our time as Zimbabwe to express ourselves. I thank you.
