HARARE – Zanu PF apologist Passion Java has come out guns blazing at critics who claim he is below the level of Nigerian superstar musician, Davido.
In a social media post, Passion Java claimed he was worth more than the Skelewu hitmaker.
This comes after Davido made a guest appearance at a glitzy private function for his childhood friend, Igho Ubiribo, and Zimbabwe’s Daniella Allen, in Harare, over the weekend.
After pictures of the function, estimated to have cost about US$500 000, went public, social media was awash with stories, including one that Passion Java didn’t want to be at a function where there was a guest with a bigger profile.
He claimed he was the first to be invited but couldn’t make it for the ceremony owing to other commitments.
“There is a difference between the big boys neboys retonaz,” posted Java, amid mixed feedback from his followers.
He continued: “Inini I am a bigger boy than muyimbi uyo (Davido), ndomutambirisa, ndomuimbisa nokuti cash and swag I have.
“Zimbabwe flag will always be high #kopo,” he posted.
