BEIJING – Former CAPS United star Nyasha Mushekwi notched a hat-trick for his side Zhejiang Greentown against Beijing Institute of Technology on Sunday.

The match ended 3-0 in favour of Mushekwi’s Zhejiang Greentown who are now on a seven match unbeaten run in China League One.

Mushekwi is already the leading scorer with 15 goals from 18 matches having scored in each of the club’s last five games.

Played in four phases, the China League One is halfway through as most teams completed the second phase of the season which will likely finish in December.

Greentown are third on the log standings with 30 points. They are behind Chengdu Quianbao and Meishou Hakka who have 40 points.

Only two teams will get automatic promotion to the Chinese Super League while third and fourth placed teams will have to go through promotion play-offs.
