Stade de Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi is being linked with a move to English Premier League side Brighton and Hove as a replacement for Yves Bissouma who moved to Tottenham Hotspurs.
Munetsi 26 is among the players that manager Graham Potter is keen on signing after an impressive past season with French Ligue 1 side Reims in which he scored four goals in 22 matches.
Munetsi who is valued at £7 million had his statistics compare favourably to those of Frenchman Aurelien Tchouameni who recently joined Real Madrid from Monaco.
Should the deal sail through, Munetsi will be the third Zimbabwean in the English Premier League after Marvelous Nakamba at Aston Villa and Jordan Zemura at newly promoted Bournemouth.
