HARARE – Ralph Matema scored in the 81st minute to help Yadah Stars defeat Dynamos in an exciting Castle Lager Premier League match played at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The match appeared to be headed for a stalemate with almost ten minutes remaining but Yadah coach Genesis Mangombe made a decisive change by introducing the veteran Matema who replaced Rodrick Sango.
Meanwhile, pacesetters Chicken Inn trounced Cranborne Bullets 4-1 to open a four points between them and second placed FC Platinum who travel to Sakubva for a date against Tenax.
Benjani Mwaruwari had a good day when his Ngezi Platinum Stars defeated struggling Bulawayo City 3-0 at Barbourfields Stadium.
The platinum miners had failed to score in their last two matches, a record which worried Mwaruwari going into the game.
