Zimbabwe through to Africa Netball World Cup qualifiers semi finals

Zimbabwe have qualified for the semi finals of the Africa Netball World Cup Qualifiers after beating Tanzania 43-33 at University of Pretoria's Rembrandt Hall on Wednesday afternoon.

PRETORIA – Zimbabwe have qualified for the semi finals of the Africa Netball World Cup Qualifiers after beating Tanzania 43-33 at University of Pretoria’s Rembrandt Hall on Wednesday afternoon.

Zimbabwe dominated the match from the start with star goal shooter Sharon Bwanali recovering from the injury suffered against Namibia on Wednesday to take part in this match.

Goal Attacker (GA) Tafadzwa Matura was once again at her devastating best while Beaula Hlungwane was named player of the match.

Zimbabwe will now take on South Africa in the last Pool match on Thursday at 12:00 noon before taking on an opponent from Pool B in the semi final on Friday.

Two teams from this tournament will join South Africa and Uganda for the 2023 World Cup in Cape Town.
