Gospel ensemble Zimpraise Choir and contemporary musician Jah Prayzah are set to release a new duet next week.
The two parties once did a collaboration in the past titled “Miteuro” which dominated the charts in local showbiz.
It was a project which demonstrated the versatility on the part of Zimpraise Choir and Mukudzei Mukombe considering the huge difference between their genres.
The universality of music was also on display and this seems to have pushed the two parties to work on another collaboration.
According to information by Zimpraise director Joseph Madziyire, the latest project will be accompanied by a video.
“After we did “Miteuro” with Jah Prayzah, for which he invited us to his project, we decided to return the favour by inviting him to our project.
“We will be releasing the anticipated video we shot in Vumba next week probably on Friday,” said Madziyire.
On the past collaboration “Miteuro”, they failed to produce a video with their efforts derailed by Covid-19 and financial constraints.
Meanwhile, Madziyire also revealed that Zimpraise Choir is set for rebranding which will see the ensemble changing its name to Zimpraise Legacy Network.
In the new arrangement, Zimpraise will move away from having permanent members with vocalists and instrumentalists set to be recruited from their academy.
Zimpraise Choir was formed in 2006 and has since gained global followership due to its appealing brand of music.
