PRETORIA – Bafana Bafana former captain Thulani Hlatshwayo is delighted to reunite with manager Gavin Hunt at SuperSport United.
Hlatshwayo recently joined DStv Premier League side SuperSport on a two-year deal after parting ways with Orlando Pirates a few weeks ago.
The 33-year-old is now coached by Hunt, whom he played for during his time at Bidvest Wits.
“I feel good to be back with coach Gavin (Hunt). I know what kind of personality he is and for me the best thing was to revitalize myself at SuperSport United,” Hlatswayo said after being introduced by Matsatsantsa.
“We know each other. We’ve already won trophies at Wits. I know what kind of character he is, he wants more, he wants everything, he wants characters and I’m aware of that.
“As the youngsters and SuperSport are a development team, I hope I can share everything I learned with Gavin with the boys and tell them what kind of person he is and share my experiences with them and the youngsters to be a role model. . ,” he added.
