The future of Zimbabwe national football team captain Knowledge Musona has been finalised with a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Tai FC.
Musona leaves Belgium Jupiler side Anderlecht for the newly promoted Saudi club thereby ending speculation which linked him with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Anderlecht confirmed the latest development in a statement and also wished the Smiling Assassin well in his future adventures.
“Knowledge Musona will play for Al-Tai FC next season. Musona came over from Oostende in 2019. The last year and half he was loaned to KAS Eupen, where he played 33 games and scored 9 times.
“Now he moves to Al-Tai FC, which just got promoted from the MBS League in Saudi Arabia. Sporting wishes Knowledge all the best for the rest of his career,” said the club in a statement.
The length and fee of the contract to Al-Tai FC is still undisclosed.
Musona joins Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Sackey who also completed his move to the ambitious Saudi club on a two-year contract.
