AFCON 2021: Zimbabwe ready for Malawi test

Zimbabwe are ready for the decisive encounter against Malawi in an Africa Cup of Nations Group B match in Bafoussam to be played on Friday.

BAFOUSSAM – Thabani Kamusoko and Tino Kadewere are set to start against Malawi in an Africa Cup of Nations Group B match in Bafoussam on Friday.

The duo came in as substitutes in the game against Senegal on Monday replacing Kundai Benyu and Prince Dube respectively.

Judging by the Warriors final training session on Thursday night, Kamusoko will start in place of injured Benyu and Kadewere in the place of Dube.

Zimbabwe captain Knowledge Musona will reclaim his place in the starting line up after recovering from a flue strain that saw him being substituted against Senegal.

Jordan Zemura who arrived in Bafoussam on Wednesday, will start from the bench. The match kicks off at 6pm.

Petros Mhari, Takudzwa Chimwemwe, Onismor Bhasera, Gerald Takwara, Teenage Hadebe, Kelvin Madzongwe, Thabani Kamusoko, Bruce Kangwa, Ishmael Wadi, Knowledge Musona (C), Tino Kadewere.
