HARARE – Mashonaland Central Division One outfit Simba Bhora has stepped up preparations for the upcoming Northern Region first division league.
The cash rich outfit took their preparations a step further and played against Caps United in a closed door training match on Friday.
The preparatory match which was played at Standard Chartered sports club in Harare ended in two goalless draws.
Second string teams and main teams played against each other and could not produce a winner.
“We picked a lot of positives from the match and we can say we are ready for the upcoming league fixtures,” Simba Bhora coach told Sportbrief.
“We hope to have more practice matches with high profile teams as we intensify our training programmes.
Simba Bhora are at advanced stage to sign former CAPS United captain Hardlife Zvirekwi who starred in the friendly match against his former club on Friday.
