HARARE – Dynamos defeated Herentals 1-0 in a match played at National Sports Stadium on Thursday to continue with their fine form in Chibuku Super Cup group one.

The group leaders remain the only unbeaten team in group one after bitter rivals CAPS United lost to Yadah Stars on Wednesday.

Dynamos collected maximum points through a finesse by Cameroon import Albert Eonde in the 75th minute after being setup by Tinashe Makanda.

The Glamour Boys are almost through to the knockout stage with this victory while other teams will still have to fight for the other slot in the group.

Herentals on the other hand have contrasting fortunes, with a winless run in the group, it is almost certain they are on their way out.

The Students have had to bear the burden of playing every game with one man short as their old guard Innocent Benza continue to cost them each game.

Dynamos started the match on the front and the exciting Bill Antonio was their driving force going forward.

Chances fell to David Temwanjira, Shadreck Nyahwa and Juan Mutudza but the were all wasted.

The golden opportunity finally came in the 75th minute when workaholic Makanda combined with Antonio before setting up Eonde, who made no mistake in front of the goal.

Herentals had clear cut chances but Tino Benza and Prince Chama could not convert them.
