Bafana Announces World Cup Qualifiers Final Squad

JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos announced the final squad to face Ethiopia in back to back World Cup qualifiers next month with star player Percy Tau the notable absentee.

JOHANNESBURG – Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos announced the final squad to face Ethiopia in back to back World Cup qualifiers next month with star player Percy Tau the notable absentee. 

Tau was denied clearance by his Egyptian club Al Ahly who said the forward should be given enough time to recover from injury. 

South Africa will be looking to consolidate their place in Group G of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers for Africa. They lead the group with 4 points from two games having played Zimbabwe and Ghana.
