CAPS United legend Joe ‘Kode‘ Mugabe has died from cancer in the United Kingdom where he was based for a long time.
Mugabe who was 52 years died early Sunday morning.
Harare giants have been plunged into mourning following the passing of their most decorated Mugabe, barely a month since the death of their former legendary coach Steve Kwashi.
Kode was part of a project in United Kingdom responsible for the growth of junior football in Zimbabwe through their assistance in various capacities.
Mugabe won the 1996 Premier Soccer League title and many trophies with the Green Machine who became known as the Cup Kings during that period.
