HARARE – The Castle Challenge Cup is set to once again kick off the Castle Lager Premier League (PSL) season in February 2024, continuing the tradition of this exciting prelude to the league.
The Cup will feature a clash between Chibuku Super Cup winners Dynamos and Castle Lager Premier League champions Ngezi Platinum, although the specific venue and date for the encounter are yet to be disclosed.
The PSL offices will close for the holiday season starting December 18, 2023, and will reopen on January 10, 2024.
The Castle Lager Premier League 2024 season will commence with the Castle Challenge Cup, marking the beginning of what promises to be an action-packed football season.

Both teams, Dynamos and Ngezi Platinum, are gearing up for continental competitions, with Dynamos participating in the CAF Confederation Cup and Ngezi Platinum in the Caf Champions League.
The location for their home games remains uncertain, as the Heart Stadium in Waterfalls, Harare, undergoes renovations and expansion.
Prophet Walter Magaya, the founder and owner of Yadah, has offered the Heart Stadium to Ngezi Platinum Stars and Dynamos for their CAF competitions, contingent on the stadium meeting CAF inspection standards.
