HARARE – MDC Alliance president Nelson Chamisa has launched the Tsvaira Zimbabwe Campaign in the high density Mabvuku surbub in Harare.
Chamisa had a successful campaign despite heavy presence of armed anti-riot police who wanted to disrupt the the clean up campaign.
The campaign was rolled out by MDC Alliance party structures in all parts of the country on Friday through the organizing secretariat Amos Chibaya.
The MDC Alliance which had been accused by critics of being invisible during crucial times has responded positively to the criticism.
They join Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume, who has been spearheading the cleanup campaigns in Mbare and other populous places in Harare.
The cleanup campaign has been necessitated by uncollected refuse in the city currently under the control of Douglas Mwonzora led MDC-T party.
