Chillspot Records, Zimbabwe’s number one music stable, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday with new and returning artists making headlines.
Young artists like Masendeke and young Fantan had fans eating out of their hands. Fans couldn’t get enough and called them back on stage for more.
It was a good reflection for Chillspot who have become the nurturing tray for most artists who have risen to glory.
It was a great show as Ras Caleb, Blot, Seh Calaz, Team BP, Dadza D and Kinnah had a great day in the office and were very well received by the fans.
Chillspot Records co-founders DJ Fantan, Levels and Rhibhe enjoyed every minute of the anniversary show and also gave the decks to other Djs.
True to their name as the depot of music, Chillspot family managed to get everyone together for their anniversary with Blot making a surprise come appearance following the nasty fallout years ago.
“Thank you to all that contributed to the success of the event and also the artists that took the stage, the security and most importantly that fans that came in their number to celebrate Chillspot 10th anniversary.
“As advertised the gig ended at curfew the fans were not ready for that but had to accept the decision and the rules stipulated due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” one of the stable’s co-founder, Fantan said.
