Confusion rocks late TB Joshua’s church

Crisis is currently brewing at the Synagogue Church of All Nations following the appointment of TB Joshua’s wife, Evelyn as the new leader of the church.

ABUJA. – A crisis is brewing in the Synagogue Church of All Nations after Evelyn, wife of TB Joshua, was appointed as the new leader of the church.

Evelyn was appointed by the church to lead The SCOAN two days ago.

But a statement from certain members of the Church of Akure, Ondo State, under the auspices of The SCOAN World Membership Congress (GCSM) and signed by Adedeji Opeyemi, GCSM President and Secretary, Brown Chimieze, urged The SCOAN members to call on all Christians and people around the world to help save the Church from destruction.

They said they were concerned about the rise of Evelyn Joshua, the wife of the late founder, who unilaterally presented herself as the new leader of the church.

According to the statement, she claimed a congregation of 2,000 church members nominated her and said it was ridiculous.

“Where did the meeting take place? Was it by a yes? Was it by elections? Was it by the ‘anointing’ of the 2000 members?

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is investigating financial fraud and embezzlement of funds left behind by TB Joshua.

According to a source, prophets from Nigeria, Mexico, South Africa and Senegal who were in close contact with the late prophet emptied a safe in the church.
