PRETORIA – The Zimbabwean women’s national football team, the Mighty Warriors, are making their presence felt in the ongoing COSAFA Women’s Championship, securing their second consecutive victory in a match against Namibia.
Captain Rudo Neshamba and Nobukhosi Ncube were the standout performers, both finding the back of the net to secure a 2-0 victory.
The latest win follows their impressive start to the tournament with a 1-0 victory against Lesotho in their opening match.
Neshamba opened the scoring just 18 minutes into the match with a right-footed shot from inside the box, which rebounded off the post and into the net.
